Holiday home: "Aggergarten"

 

 

"Aggergarten" means: garden on the banks of the Agger, which is a small river in the region called "Bergisches Land", not far from Cologne. The rolling countryside surrounding Peter's place is characterized by its forests and brooks, gentle hills and half-timbered houses.

 

Wonderful for relaxing, hiking, sightseeing.

Places of historic interest are not far away.

Easy to reach by train and car, yet in a very quiet area, this area has a long tradition a a holiday retreat for the townspeople of Cologne.

 

Supermarkets, banks and shops are 2 kms away.

A restaurant is in short walking distance. So is a bus stop.

 

 

Cologne is only 30 km away, a short drive on the autobahn or a 30-minute-ride by train which stops right next to the world famous cathedral.

The same train takes you to Cologne trade fair, "KölnMesse" (25 minutes).

 

 

When you rent this place you are given free free use of the garden that leads to the water where you you can take your breakfast in the sunny season or can sit by the bank and watch the birds or cool your feet in the water. Mind it is deep, as the river has been dammed here.

 

The house itself has a large living-room on the ground-floor with a kitchen, dining-table, three-piece-suite and an exit to the garden plus a fireplace (wood provided).

There are three bedrooms:

one small single room and two adjoining larger rooms with double beds or twins, whichever you prefer.

We also offer a children's cot and a high chair in case you bring a small child.

 

There is a bathroom with a shower, wash-basin and WC, plus a second toilet half way up to the bedrooms.

 

You'll find WLAN, TV, garden furniture, free use of bikes and parking on the premises.

 

Bedlinen and towels are provided and included in the price as is cleaning and electricity.

 

Dog welcome

 

 

1-2 persons: 75 € per night (everything included)

 

More than 2 guests: please add 8 € per person (or dog) per night
